In The Rock, two ageing members of The Great Long Paddock Olive Rustlers gather a new generation around a century-old olive grove. Among trees planted in 1919, they share stories, knowledge and memories as young creatives join the harvest.

Through the rhythms of picking, conversation and listening, the film reflects on what it means to pass something on. The grove becomes a meeting place between generations, where legacy is not simply inherited, but reimagined through new eyes. A quiet meditation on ageing, community and continuity, the film finds solace in knowing the Rustlers’ story may continue beyond them.
